how do you upload an animated image for your avatar? its saying i can't do that

im using the url to the image but im getting a messege that animated images are not allowed. and lots of ppl here have them.

foe me i just did a copy and paste

scroll over the image hit copy than paste

if you want click on the icon on the lower left hand side ( it will say report post) tell them about your problem and the moderator ttinco should be able to help you

I think the problem is how much memory the animated avatar uses. Eeryones profile is the same - none are set differently than any other posters when it comes to avatars. Some of the older animated avatars (like Kidslick's) may have been grandfathered in by previous versions of V-Bulletin software that allowed more avatar memory storage.

Badpete - post the actual avatar here in this thread and I will see if I can upload it for you.
